Volkswagen T-Roc SUV Gets a Digital Launch Because of Coronavirus

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, it is advised to avoid large gatherings, and every state in India is announcing customized dictations to well maintain a healthy ambiance. As such, now, several carmakers plan their launches, which were pre-planned through online routes as the virus does not leave the automotive industry unharmed.

With growing concerns and the count getting increased day by day, it is highly essential to avoid the crowd, and in line with that, all the public gatherings are under close watch.  World Health Organization has termed this infection as pandemic; hence VW does not hold the launch of T-Roc SUV instead takes it through online route on March 18.

With more than 120000 people getting affected worldwide, all the automakers are either cancel their events, which were scheduled to take place or postpone the same. VW was to bring its much-awaited T-ROC SUV on March 18 and stick on to its date with the online-only launch.

In order to abide by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare VW passenger car India has decided to launch its second SUV of 2020 through digital means. In order to ensure the safety of employees, partners, vendors, media colleagues, and patrons, such a precautionary measure has been followed.

In Auto expo 2020, the vehicle was unveiled first. The design language was precisely scripted with a coupe-style roof, distinctively wide front end, and concise proportions. LED day time light and integrated LED headlights to enhance the beauty of the SUV. IT gives a sporty look as it matches perfectly with the eclectic body color.

It has a TSI 1.5L petrol engine mated with a seven-speed DSG gearbox. Apart from that, it has all the standard designs for SUV like a panoramic sunroof, 6-airbags, ABS, ESC, and infotainment solutions for apple and android users providing spic and span driving experience for the customers. The engine is a BS-VI complaint that churns out 148bhp power and 250NM torque.
