Madhavan

Ranganathan Madhavan was born on the 1st of June, 1970. He is an Indian actor, writer, and film producer. He has received three Filmfare Awards, an award from the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards along various other recognitions and nominations from other organizations. He is one of the few actors in Indian who has achieved pan-Indian appeal, appearing in films from seven different languages. He began his acting career with guest appearances on television, including a role on the prime-time soap opera Banegi Apni Baat (1996) on Zee TV. He later gained recognition in the Tamil film industry through Mani Ratnam's romantic film Alaipayuthey (2000).
