South Korean zombie series All of Us Are Dead, which debuted on Netflix in January 2022, remains one of the platform's most popular non-English shows. The first season ended with a clear hint at a continuation, sparking strong expectations for a second season among fans worldwide.

The series became a massive success upon release, earning critical acclaim and global attention. It ranked as the second-most-watched Korean series on Netflix at the time and featured on the platform's list of the most-watched non-English-language series, recording over 55.5 million views in its first 91 days. Only Squid Game surpassed it in viewership. After a four-year wait, the series is expected to arrive in 2026.

Netflix officially renewed the series in June 2022, but progress updates were scarce for a long time. Initial plans reportedly targeted filming in 2024, though delays pushed production into 2025. With several months of filming now completed, Season 2 is said to be nearing the final stages of production.

Online rumours have suggested a possible early August 2026 release, but industry sources believe a 2027 premiere is more likely, given post-production requirements. While Netflix has not announced an official release date, anticipation remains high as fans await the next chapter of the hit zombie drama.
