He later acted as hero in many films like Nambiar, Saithan, Yaman, Annadurai etc and those films pushed him to another level.
His last released film was 'Thimiru Pidichavan' directed by Ganesha and bankrolled by Vijay Antony Film Corporation. The film was highly expected by the film audiences all over and actor Vijay Antony in the role of inspector Murugavel grabbed many eyeballs. He was paired with cute actress Nivetha Pethuraj in that film.
