The trailer of 'Once More' starring Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar explores love, heartbreak, second chances and emotional closure. Directed by Vignesh Srikanth, the romantic drama is set to hit theatres on August 28, 2026.
The trailer of 'Once More' has been released, offering a glimpse into an emotional romantic drama centred on love, heartbreak and the difficult process of moving on.
Running about two and a half minutes, the trailer introduces a young man caught between memories of a past relationship and the possibility of finding love again.
Written and directed by Vignesh Srikanth, the film stars Arjun Das, Aditi Shankar, Sona Olickal, Devadarshini and Dravid Selvam in key roles.
The trailer follows Arjun Das's character, who seems to be struggling to come to terms with a past relationship. Although he is attempting to move forward, memories of his former love continue to affect his present.
Things take another turn when Aditi Shankar's character enters his life and tries to build a genuine connection with him. Her efforts to win his affection become one of the story's central emotional threads.
Sona Olickal also plays an important role as another love interest, creating a complicated dynamic between the three characters. The trailer suggests their relationships will form the film's emotional core.
Rather than presenting love as a straightforward romantic journey, Once More appears to focus on the complications that arise when old memories collide with new relationships.
The trailer hints at themes of second chances, emotional healing and the search for closure. Arjun Das's character seems unable to fully leave his past behind, raising questions about whether someone can truly begin a new relationship without resolving unfinished emotions from an earlier one.
The film explores how love can linger after a relationship ends and how confronting the past may be necessary before moving forward.
Yuvaraj Ganesan produces the film under the Million Dollar Studios banner.
The technical crew includes:
Arvaind Viswanathan as cinematographer
Nash as editor
Raj Kamal as art director
Renjith Venugopal as sound designer
Navadevi Rajkumar as costume designer
The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 28, 2026. With its emotional premise, complicated relationships and Arjun Das at the centre of the story, the trailer positions Once More as a romantic drama focused less on conventional romance and more on the emotional consequences of love and letting go.
