Andhagan The Pianist, an upcoming action thriller movie starring Prasanth's trailer has been released today getting good reviews from the fans. The movie is set to release in theatres in August month.
Directed by Thigarajan, the movie Andhagan is a remake of the movie 2018 Hindi-language film Andhadhun by Sriram Raghavan. The movie follows the life of a blind man who unwittingly becomes embroiled in a murder.
The trailer introduces Prasanth as a talented blind pianist whose life takes an unexpected turn when he inadvertently becomes a witness to a murder. As the story unfolds, Prasanth finds himself caught in a complex web of mystery and intrigue, navigating through a suspenseful journey that promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
The movie also marks the reunion of Prasanth and Simran after at least over a decade. They previously starred together in the successful film Jodi (1999).
Apart from Andhagan The Pianist, Prasanth is also starring in the movie Greatest Of All Times (G.O.A.T), where Vijay plays the lead role which is one of the most anticipated movies in the cinema industry.
The Anadhagan led by Prasanth in the supposed role as the pianist, the film features an ensemble cast including Karthik as a retired actor, Simran as his wife, and Priya Anand as the pianist's girlfriend.
The supporting cast includes Samuthirakani as a determined police inspector, with Urvashi, and Yogi Babu portraying pivotal roles alongside K. S. Ravikumar as a doctor and Vanitha Vijayakumar as a possessive wife. Notable performances are also expected from Manobala, Besant Ravi, Leela Samson, Mohan Vaidya, and Lakshmi Pradeep.
The film's music, composed by Santhosh Narayanan, was Produced by Staar Movies and distributed by V Creations. Andhagan The Pianist is scheduled for a theatrical release in August.
