Vijay Antony's big hit next to Picharikaran stands Romeo which was released on April 11 in theatres, is receiving massive positive reviews from the audience. His acting is well-appreciated by the viewers. 

Romeo Movie story:

Anbu and Leela are married and live in a complex relationship. Anbu falls in love with Leela, but Leela doesn't have the same feelings towards him as she has dreams of becoming a successful actor. Her father opposes her dreams, and so she marries Anbu (Vijay Antony). In Leela's perspective, her dreams are more important than her marital life. How did their marriage life forward? Did Leela achieve her dreams? The answers to this are in the rest of the storyline.

The name Romeo refers to the person who is hopelessly in love with his partner. Like the film titled 'Romeo', Anbu attempts to make the girl of his dreams fall in love with him.

Anbu is a nerd who is in love with his wife, and he experiences trauma due to his past incident. Leela portrays the girl next door with adamant determination. Anbu's uncle (VTV Ganesh) helps him with love advice. The movie develops funny elements with Vikram (Yogi Babu), Leela's friends and Anbu's uncle.

Forced arranged marriage is a common concept, and what is different in the movie analyses Anbu and Leela's different ideas in marriage and shows what marriage requires to survive, what people will expect in their partner, and what makes a marriage a happy marriage. 

Romeo Movie Review:

Romeo receives positive reviews from most of the audience on the first two days of its release. The movie falls under the genre of romantic comedy, and it justifies it. Romeo is also welcomed by the Family audience with good music and comedy.

On the other hand, Romeo has also received negative comments because the Tamil audience is already similar to these kinds of storylines.

Romeo was released in Tamil and Telugu. Vinayak Vaithianathan directed the movie, which stars Vijay Antony, Mirnalini Ravi, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Ilavarasu, Thalaivasal Vijay, Sudha, and Sreeja Ravi.

Meera Vijay Antony produces Romeo under the banner of Vijay Antony Film Corporation. Debutants Barath Dhanasekar and Ravi Royster composed the soundtrack and background score. Farook J. Basha and Vijay Antony handled the cinematography and editing.

The movie is highly recommended for watching with friends and family. A good movie delivers a good message, and Romeo succeeds in this and ends with a happy ending.
