Soorarai Pottru in early November: Crew decided the release date

The Soorarai Pottru crew has announced the film's release date. It's going to be the visual treat from Nov 12.

The biopic of Air Deccan founder G. R. Gopinath is directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by 2D Entertainment and planned to release last April. Due to the pandemic, the crew hesitated to release the film. A few days ago, Suriya announced that the film is going to be released on the OTT platform.

Though Suriya fans are flustered by the decision, many celebrities welcomed Suriya's guts. Because releasing such a masterpiece in OTT would take a chance. It was scheduled to release on Oct 30. but it was postponed because of the delay in getting NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the IAF.

After receiving the certificate last week, the crew announced the release date on social media. Suriya officially confirmed the date on his Twitter page.

Yesterday the official trail of Soorarai Pottru was released and crossed 9.4 Million views on youtube. The film has planned to be released on Nov 12, two days before Deepavali.

The film was produced by Surya's 2D Entertainment and directed by Sudha Kongara, the director of Iruthi Suttru. Suriya plays the lead role in the movie, with Aparna Balamural as the female lead role. Telugu actor Mohan Babu and Karunas had also played their part in the film. Music Composed by GV Prakash in Veyyon Silli and Kattu Payale has been favorite for young listeners.
