National Film Award-winning music legend who sung more than 40,000 songs in several languages was hospitalized on Aug 5 after tested positive for coronavirus. Later, on Aug 13, he was moved to the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) because of his degrading health condition. His fans all over the country were worried and praying for him to get better.

In yesterday's message, Charan stated about SPB's improvement in responding to treatment and almost out of sedation. He thanked for the prayer and affection that have come his father's way. He also thanked MGM Healthcare and the doctors who are working conscientiously.

He regretted for not fulfilling people's requests to give updates in Tamil. SPB's fans are all around the country, so he could not update in 5 different languages because it is time consuming amidst prayers and doctors.
