Thug Life Update: STR Silambarasan On Board With Kamal Haasan

Thug Life movie starring Kamal Haasan, directed by Mani Ratnam and was one of the most anticipated movies in the Cinema Industry. Fans are buzzing over the photo on the set of Thug Life showing Simlambrasan (STR) next to Kamal Haasan. Although it's not official, it is rumoured that STR will share the screen space in this movie with Kamal Haasan.

In addition the Thug Life movie team has announced that the 'Sigma Thug Rules' promo will be released at 10 am tomorrow.

After the photo leak, fans took it social media to express their love for STR joining the Thug Life movie team. In the photo, STR looks handsome with his long hair, black coolers, and blue checked shirt.

The STR look in the photo is similar to the Kaalai movie look which was released in 2008. It is said that STR might play the role of Kamal's son.

There is no official confirmation from the movie yet but fans are hoping for the announcement. They are 90 percent possibility for STR to join the Thug Life.  

Jayam Ravi and Dulquer Salmaan Quits Thug Life:

There have been ongoing rumours about the movie 'Thug Life'. Initially, it was speculated that Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi would be starring in the film. However, there are now rumors suggesting that they may be quitting the project.

Fans are constantly questioning the Thug Life movie team to give updates as they never confirmed or denied the rumours. After a while, there was news that they had rejoined the movie. Fans have been left shocked and confused by these developments.

Ponniyin Selvan Cast in Thug Life:

Mani Ratnam after his success in the movies Ponniyin Selvan 1 (2022) and its sequel Ponniyin Selvan 2 (2023) announced his next movie Thug Life. Ponniyin Selvan was an ancient Tamil novel written by Kalki. The book has five parts and the book gives details about the fight between Cholas and Pandyas. 

Ponniyin Selvan was loved by many readers, but considering the plot and long storyline there was never a movie released about the successful book. Mani Ratnam who always loves epic stories took the step and directed the movie Ponniyan Selvan.

The Two sequels of the classic Ponniyin Selvan movie were a major success and were loved by the audience. The characters in the book are beautifully portrayed by the actors. The movie includes Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Vikram, Karthi, and Aishwarya Lekshmi.

Ponniyin Selvan stars Jayam Ravi, Trisha, and Aishwarya Lekshmi are included in the movie Thug Life. Dulquer Salmaan also worked with Mani Ratnam in Ok Kanmani (2015) also added to the cast. Other than that, Abhirami, and Nasser were in the cast of Thug Life.

Simlabarasan attended the  Ponniyin Selvan 2 audio launch when he was not part of the film which adds to the suspicions of the addition of STR in Thug Life with Kamal.

Thug Life Announcement Video:

Thug Life Title announcement video was released on November 6, 2023. The video attracts the audience and creates expectations for the movie. The video shows Kamal standing in a deserted place and fighting the attackers.

Kamal introduces himself as "Rangaraya Sakthivel Nayakar from Kayalpattinam". Further, he gives details about his job and adds that he is Yakuza which means gangster in Japanese. The video continues with Kamal fighting with long hair as well as conveying his dialogue to the audience.

The Title 'Thug Life' is a common word which is frequently used in Reels, and Memes. The title suggests that the movie is about the life of a thug. Thug Life was written by Mani Ratnam along with Kamal Haasan which added anticipation to the movie.

The music for Thug Life was composed by A.R. Rahman. Fans love the music composer's choice and shared their love for A.R. Rahman in the comment section. The Movie was produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth. The Thug Life movie team has not announced the movie date yet.

Indian 2 Update:

Other than Thug Life, Kamal stars in the sequel of the famous movie Indian (1996). The Indian movie shows the life of an old man (Kamal) as a hero who, in the past, fought for Indian Independence and, after witnessing the corruption happening in the present, takes action in his hands and kills the people for corrupting India.

The Movie was a huge success and after many years Shankar plans to take part 2 for the classic movie Indian. The movie features Kamal Haasan, Sidharth, Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Surya, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Nedumudi Venu, Delhi Ganesh, Manobala, Jagan, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Zakir Hussain, Piyush Mishra, and Akhilendra Mishra.

The music for the movie was composed by Anirudh Ravichande. Indian 2 will be released on June month worldwide. Fans of Kamal Haasan were eagerly waiting for the release of both movies Thug Life and Indian 2.
