SBI Fastag Service:
State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a new user service. With this new service, SBI has launched a new SMS service for users to check their FASTag balance easily. The service will allow council users to monitor their FASTag account balance instantly. This has turned out to e a purposeful service.
FASTag:
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has been running an electronic toll collection system called FASTag for the past few years across the country. Using radio frequency identification technology, the FASTag system allows passengers to pay tolls directly from a savings account linked to FASTag.
Recharge your FASTag, and the fee will be charged via the FASTag (RFID tag) affixed to your vehicle's windscreen. While this process has made it easier to pay customs at state borders, FASTag users are left in the lurch as there is no direct way to check FASTag availability with a single click.
