The Covid-19 Outbreak in India:

Central health minister Harsh Vardhan, on March 2, has confirmed that out of the 3,217 samples, five tested positive for Coronavirus, and results of 23 are awaited. Later, two confirmed Covid-19 affected cases, one from Delhi and another from Telangana, came to light on March 2. Later another case added from Jaipur, who is an Italian national. Meanwhile, Death due to the Coronavirus taking the toll beyond 3,000 in China. And its spread to other countries is increasing by the day to now more than 75 countries.

A person from Italy is now treated for Coronavirus at the RML hospital in Delhi. Another person who came from Dubai after having treatment for Coronavirus in a private hospital in Telangana is now in the government hospital treatment.

What MP Harsh Vardhan Stated on March 2?

Harsh Vardhan said that 23,738 people are under community surveillance throughout the country. So far, five out of the 3,217 samples show positive to the virus. He advised people not to travel unnecessarily to countries like Iran, Italy, South Korea, and Singapore. Also, the government authorities are in discussion with the Italian government to evacuate the Indians from there.

The situation in South Korea and Italy:

South Korea reported that day an additional 476 coronavirus cases taking its tally to 4,212. In Italy, 32 people have died, and 1,694 affected instances. In the US, a second person dies of Coronavirus.
