Bangalore Rains: Heavy Flood, Power Cut And Traffic Causes Damages

Karnataka has been experiencing heavy rains for the past few days. Especially in the capital Bengaluru and its surrounding areas, due to the incessant rains, the low-lying areas are surrounded by floodwaters.

Due to this, holidays have been announced for most schools and colleges. Waterlogging, power outages and restricted traffic movement have halted the city's rush and caused extensive damage.

There is a heavy traffic jam in Sarjapur, Majestic, Silkboard and other areas of Bengaluru city. Due to this, vehicles are crawling after waiting for several hours. The heavy traffic has disturbed the daily routine of the Bengaluru people.

And to note, a 23-year-old girl named Akila, pushing her two-wheeler in the floodwaters in the Whitefield area of Bengaluru, was electrocuted when she slipped her hand on an electric pole.
