Budget 2023: New Proposals Says Pan Card As Common Identifier

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in the Union Budget that the PAN card will be used as a common business identity of the digital systems of the government's specific departments.
A system of integrated information collection systems will be developed. This will enable information to be accessed according to the preferences of income tax filers through a common portal. Similarly, Aadhaar and DigiLocker can be used as common identifiers.
