Chetan Sharma, the chairman of the selection committee of the Indian cricket team, has been caught in a controversy after speaking in a secret operation conducted by the Private News channel.

Chetan Sharm accused many players, including Jasprit Bumrah and others, of taking injections to return to the cricket field early, even if they were not fully fit. It is also said that these banned injections cannot be caught in a dope test.

"Indian Cricket Team players take injection & get 100% fit even if they're 80% fit. These are not painkillers. These injections contain Drug which isn't caught in Dope Test", Sharma said.

He has revealed that there were mixed opinions in the management over the return of Jasprit Bumrah from injury and that Sourav Ganguly, the then BCCI president, was not keen on appointing Rohit Sharma as Test captain. Still, he didn't like the wicketkeeper either. Chetan Sharma's position is now in trouble after he leaked various things about the team.
