Chetan Sharma, the chairman of the selection committee of the Indian cricket team, has been caught in controversy for speaking inappropriately in a secret operation conducted by a private channel.
He also accused many players of taking injections to return to the cricket field early, even if they were not fully fit. He has revealed that there were mixed opinions in the management over the return of Jasprit Bumrah from injury and that Sourav Ganguly, the then BCCI president, was not keen on appointing Rohit Sharma as Test captain.
Still, he didn't like the wicketkeeper either. Chetan Sharma has resigned from his position after leaking various things about the team. He has sent his resignation letter to BCCI secretary Jay shah.
