Covid vaccine for age 45 and above From April 1 : Registration Details

Covid 19 vaccination is starting from today for the age group of 45 and above. As the government said, the vaccination process has increased in the country with no scarcity of vaccination distribution.

On March 1, the central government announced vaccinating the people aged 60 and above and the positive cases above the age 45+. Initial vaccination was taken by the doctors and the front liners and then followed accordingly.

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar announced that people of the age group 45 are eligible to get vaccinated from April 1, 2021. He requested them to register and to get appointments for the vaccination.

The walk-in registration will begin after 3 pm today and the public can also register through online by entering the website cowin.gov.in.

One can also register through the Aarogya Setu app, which will lead you to the Co-win portal. The vaccination can be put in Government hospitals as well as in private hospitals.
