Delhi Doctor Shot Dead By 2 Teens Who Enter Hospital As Patient

A doctor killed by two teenagers inside a hospital in Delhi's Jaitpur area in the early hours of October 3. Following the incident, the police launched an investigation to arrest the accused.

Delhi Doctor Murder:

The victim of the Delhi doctor murder has been identified as Dr. Javed Akhtar, a 55-year-old physician at Nima Hospital in Jaitpur, Delhi. It is reported that Dr. Javed Akhtar had been working the night shift from 8 PM and had served at the hospital for two years.

According to sources, two teenagers entered the hospital around 1:30 AM, pretending to be patients. One of them requested hospital staff to change a dressing for an injured toe.

After receiving treatment, the assailants proceeded to Dr. Akhtar's cabin, where they attacked him. Upon seeing the doctors they shot him in the head and fled the scene, following which he died on the spot.

Police Investigations:

Upon receiving an alert about the crime, a team from the Delhi Police arrived at the scene and began reviewing CCTV footage in the area for details on the suspects. The accused have been identified as minors, aged between 16 and 17 years.

As of now, the police state that the crime is a targeted killing, and they started the investigations following the crime and started looking for the accused.
