The covid cases in Delhi keep increasing every day as the spread of the virus is fast. A full lockdown will be imposed on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays to avoid the spread of coronavirus. So far, the situation is manageable, but still, as a precautionary method, the curfew will be implemented.

Today, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) decided to impose a weekend curfew in the national capital. Apart from employees engaged in essential services in government departments, other government employees are advised to work from home. In private companies, only 50 per cent of employees are employed.

The Delhi Metro and buses will now allow 100 per cent seat occupancy to avoid crowding at bus stops and stations. It is a must that all the passengers must wear a mask, and there must be no standing.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said, " I request people not to go out during the weekends unless it is an emergency." And to note, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is tested positive for Covid 19 with mild symptoms, and he requested the one who was with him to get isolated.

As the spread of the virus has increased, so has the number of hospital admissions. Meanwhile, staff at Delhi Aiims Hospital have now been declared winter vacation. Thus, a small number of medical staff are employed. Also, a winter holiday was announced from tomorrow until the 10th.

Since the cases are increasing and very few doctors and staff are employed, Delhi Aims has cancelled the winter vacation. In addition, the Delhi Aims has ordered all doctors and staff to come to work immediately.
