Farmer protests in Delhi have taken a very serious note and have also become the key talk of the nation. This protest is expected to be more intense than the farmers' protest in 2021.

It is reported that the central government will talk with farmers' associations this evening as the farmers' protest in Delhi has intensified.

It was announced that they would hold a blockade and protest in the capital, Delhi, emphasizing various demands, including minimum support price for agricultural produce, waiver of agricultural loans for farmers and farm labourers, pension for farmers, cancellation of cases filed against farmers, compensation to the families of farmers who died during the protest, revoke of the Electricity Act Amendment Bill.

Police security has been beefed up at the Delhi border to quell the farmers' protest, as it will have a major impact as the parliamentary elections are approaching.

Barricades were erected to prevent farmers from entering Delhi, and the border was closed. Subsequently, when the farmers tried to enter the Delhi border, defying the barricades, the police used batons on them and fired tear gas shells via drones to disperse them.

A group of Union Ministers will hold talks with the leaders of the agricultural unions who are protesting in this situation at 5 pm today in Chandigarh. Farmers in Punjab will go on a train strike to condemn the BJP government today while the talks are going on. The strike is being held from 12 noon to 4 pm.
