Jharkhand: More than 30 thousand farmers of Jharkhand will be given the amount of Rs 2000 for the smartphone scheme this year, 2019. The farmers who have registered themselves in the National Agricultural Markets (E-NAM) will get this benefit.The Department said that in this farmers smartphone scheme, those farmers who have received the benefit of the scheme in the previous year will not be included. Agriculture director Ramesh Gholap said that the farmers will get the benefit soon. Preparation is being done with this plan. Everyday many farmer's name is being registered, after which the beneficiary will get the benefit after the full investigation.
Digital India
This farmer smartphone scheme has been done for the purpose of increasing the importance of Digital India among the farmers. The farmers will be able to easily solve their problem by connecting to the Internet service. This farmer smartphone scheme wlill soon to implement all over India and about 37 lakh farmers will get benefit in this scheme.By connecting with e-nams, farmers will be able to get all the information related to farming online and the place to sell them. They will get the right price for their crops. Efforts are being made to connect the farmer with digital India as well as to teach them. Agriculture director told that if the price of the mobile is higher, then farmers will have to collect their money. There are many companies in the market that have a mobile set upto Rs 2000.
