Holi celebration is banned in India due to increasing positive cases in many states, especially in Maharashtra. Initially, Mumbai bans the Holi, the festival of gathering, and in the next run, Delhi too ordered to ban the celebration considering the enlargement of digits in positive corona cases.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) ordered the restriction on the celebration Holi and too banned the festival for this year. This was a disappointing order because it is the celebration of colors and gatherings.

But due to the severe spread of the additional countings of Corona positive cases, the order is announced. The violation of the order will face the consequences, and the actions will be taken.

Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has also banned the Holi celebrations and the gathering festivals like Navaratri general. The order stated, " All DMs and concerned authorities should ensure strict adherence to the order."

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the Holi celebration is banned to avoid the spread. He also said, ' There is a need to remain alert and to wear the mask all the time. Strict action is being taken against those found without the mask and violating social distancing norm.'

The ban of Holi can be acceptable in the aspect of the second wave of Corona in the major cities of Mumbai and Delhi. Still, many questions are rising shooting, Holi is banned, but the election gatherings and campaigns are continuing.
