Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has withdrawn her plea for permission to travel abroad after New Delhi's Patiala court rejected it.

Sukesh Chandrasekhar, a political middleman from Karnataka, has been accused of money laundering cases. Sukesh Chandrasekhar was arrested and put in Tihar Jail in New Delhi in a case of trying to bribe Election Commission officials.

Meanwhile, the enforcement department filed a new case against Sukesh for defrauding a businessman's wife of Rs 200 crore from New Delhi.

It was alleged that Sukesh had bought expensive gifts for Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez with fraudulent money. Subsequently, the enforcement department included Jacqueline's name in the supplementary charge sheet and issued a 'look out notice' to prevent her from fleeing abroad.

In this case, Jacqueline had filed a petition in the New Delhi Patiala court seeking permission to visit her ailing mother in the West Asian country of Bahrain. While the Enforcement Department was ordered to respond to this, the case came up for hearing yesterday in the presence of Special Judge Shailendra Malik. Then the judge said:

You have requested permission to visit your unwell mother. However, the case is now at a critical stage. Therefore, you can withdraw the petition related to going abroad. Otherwise, the court will have to issue an order.
