Jio Network Issue: Resolved After Users Face Internet Outage

Reliance Jio solved the network issue faced by many users in India. On September 17, around 12 pm many users faced a network down issue causing frustrations among the Jio Users.

Many Jio users were facing network problems in India, especially in Mumbai. Many places in India are dealing with the network being down, while Jio is working fine in some areas like Delhi.

As a result of the Reliance Jio service being down, many started to report their frustrations on X stating that they were not receiving proper network in Mobile phones. Over this many debates and memes were created which ended up trending on the platform.

According to Down detector, a service that tracks real-time disruptions, approximately 10,369 Jio users reported network outages around 12 PM on September 17.

The majority of these reports (62 percent) were related to a complete lack of signal, while 20 percent were focused on internet connectivity problems. In addition to that, some users also reported that they were having trouble with JioFiber, the company's broadband service.

Regarding this, many tried to report it to the Jio platforms like Jio.com and My Jio App. But they received an "ERR_TIMED_OUT" error message that said, "This site can't be reached". This created even more frustration among the Jio users and a lot of buzz in social media over the Jio down.

Many sources say a fire breakdown in the Jio data service center was the reason for the Jio down but Jio neither confirmed nor denied it at first. Later, after solving the network issues, in response to the network issue, Reliance said Jio's down was caused due to some "technical issues".
