The Enforcement Directorate has interrogated Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener, Arvind Kejriwal, for allegedly being involved in the Delhi Liquor case. Arvind Kejriwal has been held in a 14x8ft cell in Tihar for two weeks. He is under CCTV surveillance, with Z+ security and medical staff on standby, and is being provided with home-cooked dietary food.

On March 21, an enforcement team raided Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's house. After a 2-hour search and interrogation, the Enforcement Directorate arrested Kejriwal that night which caused stir across nation. It is the first time that a person has been arrested while being the Chief Minister. Aam Aadmi Party has said that it will file an appeal in the Supreme Court against Kejriwal's arrest.

Subsequently, Kejriwal, who came from the custody of the Enforcement Department, was called by the Delhi Special CBI. The authorities brought him to court yesterday. It is said that he did not cooperate well during the investigation.

Thus, it was argued by the Additional Solicitor General that he should be remanded in judicial custody. Following this, Delhi Special CBI asked him to be remanded in judicial custody for 14 days. Accordingly, Kejriwal will be remanded till April 15. Following this, the authorities took him to Tihar Jail.

Kejriwal is in Jail No. 2, which has an area of 14 by 8 feet. Generally, inmates in Tihar Jail are given two meals a day: dal sambar and sabji, and five rotis or rice. Apart from this, a cup of tea is served both morning and evening.

In Tihar Jail, Kejriwal has got privileges on the basis of Chief Minister. Kejriwal is also diabetic. Thus, he will be given home-cooked meals and bottled drinking water. High-quality chocolates are also offered to eat if the blood sugar level drops suddenly.

He will stay in Tihar Jail for 14 days and will be given bed sheets, pillows and covers brought from home. Necessary medical equipment to monitor Kejriwal's health will also be provided.
