Myanmar aircraft With 14 People Crashed At Lengpui Airport In Mizoram

A Myanmar aircraft dispatched to Mizoram for the evacuation of 92 Myanmarese soldiers lost control at the runway at Lengpui Airport near the state's capital, Aizawl. As a result, the aircraft broke into two parts.

The plane suddenly lost control, veered off the runway and crashed into the nearby forest. The plane was carrying 14 people, including the pilot. Six people were injured.

The military aircraft was tasked with transporting Myanmar army personnel who had taken shelter in the state due to intense confrontations with rebel groups in Myanmar.

Fighting is going on between the military and ethnic groups in Myanmar. Army soldiers are taking refuge in Myanmar due to fear of ethnic groups. They are being sent back to their own country.
