All the eight accused of the Brazilain Biker Fernanda Gang rape case at Jharkhand have been arrested. Fernanda has shared a thank you post on her social media page for the support extended by India.

Fernanda, a bike vlogger, was on a world tour with her husband, Vicente. Though she belongs to Brazil, she got double citizenship as her husband is from Spain. On March 1, 2024, the couple was halted in a small tent as they couldn't find any hotel on the way. 

At that time, eight men surrounded their tent. The men attacked Vicente with the helmet, which hit him hard and tore his mouth when he tried to protect Fernanda. Later, Fernanda was gang raped by eight men for two and a half hours.

In the FIR statement, Fernanda mentioned that she was threatened with a dagger, kicked, punched, and then raped. She also mentioned that the culprits raped her for two and a half hours. She stated that all their belonging, from credit cards, ₹11,000, and $300 US, were snatched by the seven men. Other items like a Swiss knife, a watch, a platinum diamond ring, a silver ring, earpods, and a black purse were also stolen.

Following the complaint, Jharkhand Police had an intense search for the rapists and arrested the three in the initial search and on March 5, 2024, the Police held the other five accused. All the accused are between the 18-25 age group. Jharkhand Police has handed over a compensation of Rs 10 lakhs to Fernanda's husband, Vicente.

Following the arrest and compensation, Fernanda has shared, 'They have caught all the criminals, and there were 8 in total. Everything has gone very quickly, and the Police have been tremendously efficient. I just have to thank all of you who have helped and supported us.
