UPSC or the Union Public Service Commission every year conducts civil services exams for various Indian services. They include IAS for administration, IPS for police, IFS for forestry, IRS for revenue, and many more. As per the rank, the candidates will allot the service posts every year.

UPSC civil services exam is considered as one of the most significant exams where more than ten lakhs of people participate in the first preliminary round. Only one percent of them qualify for the second round, which carries 1750 marks. After qualifying in the main exams, they have to attend the last round of interview sessions, which carries 275 marks. Only then the results of the successful candidates with their all India ranking are announced every year.

In 2019 11,875 candidates were eligible for the main exams which they wrote in September. Only on observing the contents of the said order, UPSC may announce the results today, January 10.

Yesterday, January 9, the UPSC secretary confirmed that the mains results would be announced soon. More than eleven thousand candidates, along with their families and friends, are sitting biting their nails for the results to be announced anytime soon.
