A harrowing video has been released showing the plight of 41 labourers trapped in a tunnel collapse in Uttarakhand for ten days.

In Uttarakhand, a 4.5 km tunnel is being constructed between Silkyara-Barkot as part of the Chardam highway project. A landslide occurred in the early hours of the 12th Nov, and 41 labourers were trapped in the middle of the tunnel.

Experts from 8 government departments are trying day and night to rescue them. The rescue work is still going on for the 10th day.

Meanwhile, the first video of the victims of the Uttarakhand Uttarakhashi tunnel accident has been released.

A camera was passed through a 6-inch pipe driven through the rubble, and video was taken. Workers trapped in the mine were videotaped with an endoscopy camera.

Prayers and efforts are made continuously to rescue the workers from the tunnel. And the first video of the rescue team talking to the workers trapped in the tunnel via walkie-talkie has gone viral.
