Police have arrested a wife who allegedly stabbed her husband, a security guard, with a knife in a fit of rage after suspecting him of frequent quarrels with her in the Hulimavu area of Bangalore.
Umesh (27) is a resident of the Hulimavu area of Bangalore and was a security guard at an educational institution in the area. His wife is Manisha. Manisha used to work as a domestic worker in rich houses.
It is said that Manisha was often talking to someone on her cell phone. Due to this, there was a dispute between the two. Knowing this, Umesh is convinced that his wife is having an affair with another person. They had frequent arguments because of this and were not talking properly.
In this situation, Umesh went out with his friends. After drinking alcohol, Umesh came to his house in the middle of the night. At that time, Manisha was talking to someone on the cell phone. Umesh angrily yelled who you are talking to on the phone and had a furious argument with Manisha.
Manisha, who was watching quietly, suddenly entered the kitchen and came quickly with a knife. He then stabbed Umesh in the chest. Umesh was injured, collapsed, and died on the spot.
Meanwhile, the neighbours who heard Umesh's screams found him lying dead and immediately informed the Hulimavu police. On that information, the police reached the spot. They recovered Umesh's body and sent it to the government hospital for post-mortem.
The Hulimavu police immediately arrested his wife and conducted an investigation. Manisha confessed to the police that she had stabbed her husband with a knife because of a dispute over his behaviour. The police then arrested Manisha. This has caused a huge stir in the locality.
