On the day of the tragic series of Wayanad landslides, Sujatha and her granddaughter Miruthala were in their home when water began flooding in. As the situation grew worse, Sujatha quickly gathered her granddaughter and fled the house. It is said that moments later, their home was destroyed by the landslide.
Due to the unfortunate situation, she ended up in the forest and was shocked to encounter three wild elephants.
