The AIADMK on Tuesday, Feb 24, unveiled the third phase of its manifesto for the 2026 Assembly elections, announcing a series of welfare measures aimed at families, youth and small workers across Tamil Nadu.

The announcement was made on the 78th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa. The first phase was released earlier on January 18, marking the birth anniversary of party founder M.G. Ramachandran.

Among the key promises, the party said every family would receive ₹10,000 as a "karunai amount." It also assured monthly unemployment assistance, ₹2,000 for graduates and ₹1,000 for those who have completed Plus Two and are registered with employment exchanges.

For fishermen, the relief grant during the annual fishing ban period would be increased from ₹8,000 to ₹12,000. The party also promised a cash prize of ₹1,000, along with Pongal gift hampers, every year during the Pongal festival.

In support of weavers, AIADMK said free electricity limits would be raised from 300 to 450 units for handloom weavers and from 1,000 to 1,400 units for power loom operators. Loans taken by roadside vendors in cities would also be waived in Cooperative banks.

With these announcements, the party has sharpened its welfare-focused pitch ahead of the 2026 polls.
