Complaint Filed Against TVK Leader Vijay Stating Poll Violation

A social activist has complained to Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam Vijay, alleging that he violated election norms by entering the polling station with over 200 people, causing public disturbance. The complaint was filed with the Chennai Police Commissioner's office.

The first phase of voting took place yesterday in 102 constituencies in 21 states, including Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. In it, political party leaders, celebrities, first-time voters, and the public actively cast their votes.

Actor Vijay, who caused a stir in Tamil Nadu politics by starting a political party called Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam casted his vote at noon at a polling station in Neelangarai, Chennai. However, due to the presence of a large crowd, Vijay had to enter the polling booth with heavy security before casting his vote.

In this case, a social activist has filed a complaint against Vijay in the Chennai Police Commissioner's office. It has been alleged that they entered the polling station in violation of election norms, with more than 200 persons causing public disturbance.
