Makkal Needhi Maiam Alliance With DMK Confirms Kamal Haasan

As the Lok Sabha elections approach, alliance talks and seat allocation are being finalised. Kamal, who has been contesting alone so far, has reportedly joined the DMK party.

Kamal Haasan's Makkal Needhi Maiam party, which is part of the DMK alliance, has a Rajya Sabha constituency. An agreement regarding seat sharing was signed between DMK leader MK Stalin and Makkal Neeti Maiyam chief Kamal Haasan today.

Makkal Needhi Maiam's party has been allotted a seat in next year's Rajya Sabha elections. However, it is said that the Makkal Needhi Maiam will not contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Party leader Kamal Haasan has also said that we will engage in the election campaign in support of the alliance.
