Music Composer Ilaiyaraaja Becomes Member of Parliament

The central government has announced the appointment of music composer Ilaiyaraaja as Rajya Sabha MP. Following this, political leaders, celebrities and fans are congratulating him.

Ilaiyaraaja, who has gone to America to participate in a music concert, is grateful to those who have congratulated him. Thanking the Prime Minister, Ilayaraja has said in a post on Twitter, "I express my sincere gratitude for the thoughts @narendramodi Ji. It is an honour and opportunity to make the beauty of music, art, and culture reach the length and breadth of our society."
