Former Telangana governor Tamilisai Soundararajan joins BJP
Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana and Puducherry states, resigned from his post and joined the BJP Party once again.
On Wednesday, Tamilisai Soundararajan rejoined the BJP in the presence of Annamalai, two days after resigning as Telangana Governor and Puducherry Lieutenant Governor.
After rejoining the BJP, Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed her desire to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. As a result, it was said that she would contest the Lok Sabha election.
Soundararajan contested the 2019 Parliament elections from Thoothukudi in southern Tamil Nadu but lost to DMK's Kanimozhi. She is expected to contest in the same region this time as well.
