On March 3, ICC women's ODI Batting rankings were announced, in which the Indian team vice-captain, Smriti Mandhana, was crowned as no.1 following her finest performances in the last three matches against Australia.

After her performances against Australia, Mandhana secured the No. 1 position in ODI batting, overtaking South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt, gaining 790 rating points and pushing Wolvaardt by 8 points.
Laura Wolvaardt still stands a chance to overrule Smriti by beating New Zealand in March and April. Alyssa Healy, an Australian player, signed off from ODI cricket with a century, showcasing her outstanding performance and ranking fourth on the list, standing between compatriot Beth Mooney (749) and Ashleigh Gardner (724) with 744 points.
Indian Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who reenters the top 10 ranking in the ODI list, securing her place in ninth position, whereas Jemimah Rodrigues is positioned in 12th place.
Among the bowlers' rankings, Alana King, an Australian spinner, tops the list with her career-high 775 rating points. Besides this, four fellow Australian bowlers, Gardner (third), Annabel Sutherland (fifth), Megan Schutt (seventh) and Kim Garth (eighth), joined Alana King in the top 8
Deepti Sharma, an Indian player, is the only person to make the top 10, claiming 10th place in the bowlers' ranking list. Gardner dominated the ODI overall ranking list with 516 points by her impactful performance with West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews (418).
With King, Mooney, Gardner and Healy playing pivotal roles in the gameplay, they turned the losses of Australia into ashes by securing the top place in the ODI rankings.
