Mookuthi Amman is a film that skins out the fake preachers roaming around the world by none other than god, released on 14th November 2020 for Diwali festival on OTT platform.

Mookuthi Amman Movie Review:

RJ Balaji is a local TV reporter in Nagercoil. There he gathers news about an ashram to be built on 11,000 acres of land. On the other hand, his grandfather, mother, and three sisters are living very hard to meet daily ends.

The family travels to worship their Kuladeivam, believing that staying a night in the temple and praying will sort all the problems prevailing inside the home. During night time chaos in mind, Mookuthi Amman (Nayanthara) appears before the family.

After that, Nayanthara starts traveling with RJ Balaji. Both move the screenplay to make the temple famous among the people, exposing the fake preachers land occupation and skinning the fake pastors. Ramasamy (RJ Balaji) has been collecting evidence for years to tear the face of Bhagwati Baba (Ajay Ghosh).

Nayanthara as Mookuthi Amman:

The film heats up after Nayanthara arrives. Balaji is a middle-class person and his comedy timing is good as usual with realistic hits. Nayanthara has realized her role and acted excellently by sticking well as a goddess.

Urvashi is the one who impresses everyone in terms of acting. Urvashi's performance from the beginning to the climax is excellent. Meanwhile, Bhagwati Baba's (Ajay) performance marks only above average.

The first half keeps you laughing and funfilled. But the second half is taller. The verse in the scene between the goddess and pastor is approximate and the scenes are predictable.

Mookuthi Amman Directed by N.J.Saravanan with R.J.Balaji's co-writing, Mookuthi Amman movie looks logical in several ways, but looking beyond the script is unnecessary. The only thing is to watch the god script for entertainment.
