India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort, celebrating the occasion of the 74th Independence Day. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi K. Palaniswami hoisted the national flag at the St. George's Fort in Chennai and accepted the parade honor.

After paying homage to the national flag at the Red Fort, Prime Minister Modi addressed the nation. Starting his speech wishing a very happy Independence day to every citizen, Modi bowed himself thanking all the frontline workers who are serving the nation from the novel CoronaVirus.

India unanimously opposes all issues and has faced all the calamities like rain, floods, coronavirus. Hopefully, the 75th Independence Day celebration will be even more grandiose. We are advancing in many ways as one country, one ration, one tax. Our quality mantra should be to give "Voice to local" products from now on, Modi added.

Addressing on the main essentials, P.M quoted that " An average of 7 lakh corona tests are being done daily. Soon all the people of the country will be given the corona vaccine. Tests are in full swing. Moreover, Elections will be held soon in Kashmir. There are several plans for the development of Kashmir and Ladakh. Kashmir is currently enjoying the benefits of development. Currently, the block redefinition works are being carried out as per the court advice".

Edappadi K. Palanisamy addressed the State after paying homage to the national flag and said "I wish all the people. We got our freedom only through the sacrifices of countless leaders. We must preserve that freedom".

The Government of Tamil Nadu is working on the basis of peace, prosperity and development. The Tamil Nadu government has taken various measures against Corona. The Government of Tamil Nadu has been playing a vital role in alleviating the hunger of the helpless during the contagious period". He also informed that Nearly, 6650 crore has been spent from the funds of the Government of Tamil Nadu for corona relief work.

Family cards have been offering free items at ration shops since April. It is the intention of the Government of Tamil Nadu that there should be no NEET selection. Steps have been taken to provide 7.5 per cent internal quota in medical studies for government school students.
