The candidates file the nomination papers in the state of Tamil Nadu for the proceeding Assembly Election 2021, which is to be held on April 6, 2021. President of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam political party M K Stalin files his nomination for Kolathur. DMK's Youth Wing Secretary of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Udhayanidhi Stalin files his nomination for the Chepauk-Triplican constituency.

M. Paranjothi has filed his nomination in Manachanallur. V Padmanadan fielded at Trichy West on his nomination papers.T. T. V.
