Chennai Earthquake: Mild Tremors Felt At Anna Salai This Morning

The earthquake reportedly hit a bank and two buildings near Annasalai, Chennai. In Annanagar, the employees were evacuated as earthquakes were felt in some buildings.
A sudden earthquake was felt in Chennai today at 10.15 am. Employees of a private company there ran out of the apartment building. Due to this, there was a commotion for a while.
Residents reported that earthquakes were felt in buildings on Anna Road in Chennai. No official earthquake report was on the National Center's website. The Metro Rail management has explained that their work is not the cause of the earthquake in Chennai.
People are in fear of earthquakes. But the details of how many points this earthquake recorded on the Richter scale were unknown.
