Northeast monsoon may be left with some more showers for Tamil Nadu confirm weather predictions: Northeast monsoon may give some more showers until the end of this year confirms weather experts. Already Tamil Nadu has a surplus of 13 cm rain than the normal levels, and these predictions will make the farmers happier.

Rainfall for the next 24 to 48 hours is to be only in the north and south parts of Tamil Nadu and will get medium to heavy rains is the weather forecast. Chennai is said to be dry and shiny throughout today, 5 December, and it is the same predicted for Coimbatore, Tiruchy, and Salem also. 

As per yesterday's 4 December, Chennai Met center's 10 PM report, many districts in the north part of Tamil Nadu are to receive moderate to heavy rains. The northern regions include Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Ranipettai, Tirupathur, Villupuram and Cuddalore.

The south part of Tamil Nadu also recorded the most rainfalls yesterday with Papanasam in Tirunelveli, receiving 5 cm of rain. The other storm occurred in Tirumanur in Ariyalur and Kodaivasal in Tiruvarur with 2 cm. 

The weatherman predicts northeast monsoon to bring isolated rainfall continuously. Also, the thunderstorms over the coastal Tamil Nadu are expected to spread across its inland areas during this weekend, 7 and 8 December.

It also predicts that the northeast monsoon cannot be written off for 2019 as it will again wake up to shower Tamil Nadu, Sri Lanka, and Comorin in its late-season of the year 2019.
