Heavy rains lashed Chennai due to cyclone Michuang, leaving the city floating in water. The rain has ended, and a few places in Chennai are gradually returning to normal. The stagnant rainwater takes extra time to drain in a few places in the city. 

In this situation, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin inspects the impact of cyclone Michuang and rain. First, the Chief Minister inspected the relief camp set up at Kannappar Hotel near Central. Then, he heard the grievances of the people staying in the relief camps.

After that, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin met the people at the relief camp in the Periyamedu. After that, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin also inspected the relief camps on Walltax Road and the Sunnambu Kolathur areas.

Chief Minister M. K. Stalin assured the people that the renovation would be done quickly. Ministers KN Nehru, Shekharbabu, Mayor Priya, Corporation Commissioner Radhakrishnan and government officials were also present during this inspection.

Minister of Youth Welfare and Sports Development Udhayanidhi Stalin met the people who were brought from low-lying areas like Surya Nagar, Chitra Nagar, Kotturpuram, Chennai due to the heavy rains caused by Cyclone Mikjam and were safely accommodated in the relief camp. He also urged the authorities and officials to act so that the camp people return home as soon as possible.
