In person, CM Stalin visited Kanam Latex Industries Private Limited, a glove manufacturing company located in the Kavalkinaru area of Tirunelveli district. He interacted with the workers from Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal working there.

Municipal Administration Minister K.N. Nehru, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran, Minister of Information Technology and Digital Services Mano Thangaraj, Kanyakumari district administration president P.N. Sridhar, E.A.P., Praveen Mathew, Director, Kanam Latex Company and senior government officials were present during the discussion.

Earlier, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had recently posted a tweet saying he was worried about the reports of Bihar workers being attacked in Tamil Nadu.

Later, the Tamil Nadu Police Department clarified that such incidents of attack did not happen and were just a rumour. Meanwhile, a government team from Bihar also came to Tamil Nadu for inspection. Some were recently arrested for spreading rumours.
