The lower part of the Avinasi Road flyover was covered by rainwater following heavy rain last night in Coimbatore.
The Meteorological Department had warned that ten districts, including Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Nilgiris, would experience heavy rain. In this situation, last night, there was heavy rain with thunder and lightning in Coimbatore. Due to this, rains flooded the roads of Coimbatore.
In particular, the lower part of the Avinasi Road flyover was completely covered by rainwater and the traffic was affected. After this, the rainwater accumulated on the Avinasi Road flyover was removed with a giant motor.
