The number of new cases in Tamil Nadu was loaded to 6,711 in the last 24 hours. The state has also reported that 2,339 people were discharged from the hospital yesterday.

The number of fatalities is 19 in a span of a day in Chengapattu (2), Chennai (8), Coimbatore (1), Nagapattinam (2), Thiruvallur (2), Tiruppur (1), Trichy (2), and Vellore (1).

The government has initiated many new actions to control and treat the patients. The government t has appointed 15,000 new medical staff to treat the patients.

There is no need to panic among the public as the government takes many steps to treat the people efficiently. It is a must to wear the mask and maintain social distancing, and get sanitized regularly.

The Tamil Nadu government received two crores fifty lakhs as a penalty paid by the public for not wearing the mask in public places.
