The COVID 19 new cases have exceeded 8000 in Tamil Nadu on Friday. The cases are high at Chennai, Coimbatore, Chegalpatttu, and Kancheepuram.

The peaking of fresh cases gradually increases the death count as well. The Government has implemented many restrictions to be followed by the public, but still, people are unaware of the seriousness of the second wave.

The public must not hesitate to get vaccinated with appropriate doses. Wearing the mask in public places is very important; maintaining social distance is also important.

Regular washing of hands and getting sanitized at intervals will keep the person hygiene and safe.

The new positive cases are in Chengalpattu (795), Coimbatore (583), Chennai (2636), Kancheepuram (303), Salem (214), Thiruvallur (453), Tirunelveli (214), Tiruppur (227), and Trichy (273).

According to the official report, COVID 19 new cases are in the count of 8,445, and the number of death is 33, where 4,920 members are cured and discharged.

The deaths are in Chengalpattu (2), Chennai (11), Coimbatore (1), Cuddalore (1), Dharmapuri (1), Kanchipuram (2), Nagapattinam (2), Salem (3), Kanyakumari (1), Krishnagiri (1), Thiruvallur (3), Vellore (1), Virudhunagar (1), Madurai (1), Sivaganga (1) and Theni (1).
