DMK Rally Starts in Egmore and Ends in Rajarathinam Stadium: DMK massive protest rally from Egmore, Chennai against CAA and NRC. DMK protest rally against CAA and NRC started near Thalamuthu Natrajan Maliga in Egmore Chennai. Many leaders are walking in the front with DMK leader Stalin leading the rally. Thousands of protestors from DMK party and their alliance parties are walking behind the leaders to reach Raja Rathninam Stadium in Egmore to end the rally. There is a stage set up there for the leaders to voice their protests against CAA and NRC.

The protest rally now started will move from the Langes garden road via Chitra theater near Mount Road junction to go to Pudupettai and cross the Egmore court to reach Rajarathinam Stadium. Substantial police personnel supervised by two DCPs with six Vajra, three Varun, and fire fighting vans stand along both sides of the road. Two drones are monitoring the rally from the sky as per the orders of the High Court.

The leaders will walk a distance of 2 kilometers to reach the Rajarathinam stadium. Thousands of DMK and alliance party workers are walking behind the leaders shouting slogans against CAA and NRC.

Leaders earlier said to Press that the protests would continue until the government withdraws the CAA. Leaders are to speak at the Rajarathinam Stadium when the rally ends there.
