TN Governor Approves Emergency Online Gambling Prohibition Act

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi has approved an emergency law to ban online gambling games, including online rummy, in Tamil Nadu.
Online gambling causes casualties every day. So many people are demanding that online gambling should be banned immediately.
It is reported that Governor RN Ravi has approved the Tamil Nadu Government's Online Gambling Emergency Prohibition Act. Following this, a complete Ordinance was prepared and placed in the Cabinet meeting held on 26.09.2022 and approved by the Cabinet.
Following this, the Ordinance was sent to the Governor for approval. The legislative session will introduce a law to ban online gambling starting on October 17th.
