TN Weather Report: Heavy Rain Is Expected In Tamil Nadu For Two Days

Due to atmospheric circulation, the Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in Tamil Nadu today and tomorrow. Thundershowers will occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Karaikal on the 12th. Heavy rain is likely to occur in one or two places in the south-eastern districts. The sky will be partly cloudy in Chennai. There is a chance of light rain in some parts of the city.

Due to the heavy rains in Tamil Nadu for the last few days, the summer heat has abated, spreading the cold. During the last 24 hours, Kadampur in Thoothukudi district, Kayatharu, Kudalur in Theni district and Periyakulam in Periyakulam received 9 cm of rain each.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Puthuvai and Karaikal tomorrow. Heavy rain is likely in one or two places in the south-eastern districts.
